Biography: Lama Alarda holds a PhD in Management and economic sciences from HEC Belgium. Her research interest revolves around solidarity management and legitimation processes of civil society organisations especially in politically complex contexts. Lama has a masters degree from Potsdam University in Germany, on new public management. And Mphil from Grenoble Ecole de Management, where she also taught courses on organisations development and qualitative research. Lama earlier in her career has worked with the United Nations development Program in Palestine. She has then moved to Birzeit University to teach public policy, and to lead community outreach programs. Lama has worked on migration labour market studies in Europe. She has also done research for consultancy purposes exclusively for civil society organisations in Europe.
