This 4-year professorship aims to analyze the importance of new forms of atypical employment in Belgium, to identify the challenges for the workers concerned, to analize the solutions offered by the new intermediaries that are emerging on the labor market to these new self-employed workers and to anticipate the potential impacts of these developments on the HR function. Particular attention is paid to the evolution of interactions between HR services and labor market intermediaries as well as to the opportunities related to the new areas of collaboration that such evolution is likely to bring.
